Email to SMS in practice

A sports therapy business uses Email to SMS to contact its large team of mobile staff members. When a request from a customer is received, the appointment co-ordinator can easily text the staff to check their availability, and subsequently send them the name and address of the customer using online text messaging.

Getting Started...

Once you have registered an account, it's simple to use Email to SMS:

a) Create an email

In the "To:" field, enter the mobile phone number followed by @totext.net. Please include the country dial code if sending abroad, and you can include more than one recipient in the email if you wish.

b) Send

We'll convert the email into a text message and send it to the mobile number(s) you gave us.

c) Delivery Receipts

When the text message is delivered, we'll send you an email to say what time it was received.

d) Replies

Any replies that are received will be emailed to the address that you used to send the original message.
